Jana Doppa

Jana Doppa is the George and Joan Berry Distinguished Associate Professor of Computer Science at Washington State University. His research focuses on both foundations of AI and its applications to science and engineering domains. He has won a NSF CAREER Award, Outstanding Paper Award at AAAI (2013), Best Paper Award from ACM Transactions on Design Automation of Electronic Systems (2021), and was selected for a Early Career Spotlight talk at the IJCAI conference (2021). He also won the Reid-Miller Teaching Excellence Award (2018) and Outstanding Junior Faculty Research Award (2020) from the College of Engineering, Washington State University. He has presented successful tutorials on structured prediction at IJCAI (2016) and AAAI (2018) conferences, and multiple tutorials on machine learning for electronic design automation at ICCAD, DAC, DATE, and Embedded Systems Week conferences.
